Model and reality TV star Alimamy Sall Kamara, popularly known as Almon Sall, has broken his silence on a viral video involving his daughter, Ashmiya, which has been circulating on social media.
Speaking on the matter, Kamara described the situation as unfortunate, noting that in all circumstances, events ultimately occur by the will of God. He explained that just as unforeseen incidents such as death can happen at any time, the situation involving his daughter is one beyond his control.
He expressed that he and his family are deeply unhappy about what has transpired. Despite the incident, Kamara maintained that he has always been a responsible and committed father, stating that he has worked tirelessly to raise his daughter to be a good person.
Addressing public reactions, he said he would not use any platform to speak negatively about his daughter’s mother or place blame on her. He also revealed the emotional toll the situation has taken on him, disclosing that he has cried and struggled to sleep since the incident occurred. He added that his daughter did not intend for the situation to happen.
Kamara further cautioned individuals who spread negative commentary and information online, stating that actions have consequences. He noted that while the situation is painful, it is not within his power to resolve alone, adding that the appropriate authorities are handling the matter and will investigate to uncover the facts.
He concluded by expressing appreciation to those who have reached out to support him during this period. Kamara reaffirmed his confidence in his role as a father and prayed for strength for himself, his daughter, and his family, expressing hope that the situation will pass and not happen again.
