The National Secretariat of the All People’s Congress (APC) Party has announced the opening of candidature applications for elective Constituency and Chapter positions within the party’s Diaspora 6th Region.
According to a public notice issued by the party, the application process is open to all interested members, intending aspirants, and party officials across the Diaspora 6th Region ahead of the upcoming lower-level elections.
The APC National Secretariat stated that Constituency and Chapter elections across the Diaspora 6th Region will commence on Saturday, 1st August 2026.
The party further explained that, in line with its commitment to transparency, inclusiveness, and constitutional compliance, only members seeking elective positions within their respective District Constituencies or Chapters are required to submit candidature applications and pay the prescribed non-refundable fees.
The notice outlined that applicants for the position of Constituency Chairman or Chapter President will pay Six Hundred New Leones (NLe600), while all other elective Constituency and Chapter positions will attract a fee of Three Hundred New Leones (NLe300), as provided under Article 35(b) of the APC Constitution (2022).
The party reminded all aspiring candidates that eligibility to contest is subject to compliance with Article 55(f) of the APC Constitution (2022), including the payment of outstanding membership subscriptions and meeting all constitutional requirements for candidature.
The National Secretariat also announced that it will release a comprehensive tutorial video to guide applicants through the online candidature application process and the payment procedures for the required fees.


The APC encouraged all qualified members of the Diaspora 6th Region interested in contesting to take advantage of the opportunity and submit their applications within the stipulated period.
