Sierra Leonean rapper Kao Denero has announced the release of a new song titled “Unity,” a collaborative project featuring veteran cultural performer Amie Kallon and folk singer Ordulae.
The award-winning rapper made the announcement on his official social media platforms, describing the song as a celebration of Sierra Leone’s cultural identity through African music. He said the collaboration reflects the country’s rich musical heritage and blends contemporary rap with traditional cultural sounds.
According to Kao Denero, the track was produced by renowned music producer Big FAB and received sponsorship from the Institute of Languages and Cultural Studies (INSLACS) at Njala University. He expressed optimism that the song would showcase Sierra Leonean culture to a global audience.
“This is African music, Sierra Leone to be exact,” Kao Denero stated, adding that his ambition is to see the project achieve international recognition.
Alongside the announcement, the rapper also confirmed that he is scheduled to perform in Ingolstadt, Germany, on Saturday, where he said he looks forward to entertaining fans as part of his international engagements.
Kao Denero concluded his message by thanking his supporters for their continued encouragement and wishing them a successful week while urging them to listen to the newly released track.
