Citizens in Sierra Leone call on President Bio to Monitor his Ministers, Deputy Ministers and Public Sector Officers that are under performing in their various offices as they have lost focus in promoting the President’s Agenda, but rather busy in building, Teams, Cabals and Campaign groups on who should succeed the President as the next Flagbearer.

Following the successful outcome of the ECOWAS Summit, Citizens want to congratulate His Excellency the President Dr. Julius Maada Bio for his exemplerary leadership and statemanship exhibited to host this great conference thereby putting the country back to its development trajectory. 

This effort had increased confidence and trust in the country’s peace and security amids political tension in the country. The country had taken a significant step to promote unity, peace and reconciliation for the development of Sierra Leone.

However, as  Sierra Leone prepares to get set for another round of election come 2028, some ministers, deputy ministers and public sector officials have started forming themselves into political camps, cabals and campaign teams so early as to who should succeed the President as the next Flagbearer, leaving him alone to pursue the county’s development agenda.

Some of these Ministers and their Deputies, including their Parmanent Secretaries and Directors are no longer paying attention to effectively deliver quality services to the citizens.

Some do not even have time any longer in their offices to address the concerns of the citizens, or deliver on their mandates as prescribed in their performance contracts, but rather they are all busy discussing politics and waiting to know who will be the next flagbearer, so that they will start to pay their lineage or loyalty to him

As the President has set precedent by changing the entire leadership of NASSIT, let him also pay attention to the leadership of all those Ministries, Department, Agencies and Commissions that are underperforming and have lost focus on paying attention to serving the people to be treated the same way.

Some Ministers and Deputy Ministers have become monsters and dictators in their officesvthat they do not listen to the concerns and sufferings of the masses, while others say they are only managing to work from now to early next year, after that they will be busy running after the next flagbearer, as they know the President will have no job for them after 2028.
