CEO of Kahunla Rangers Eric Kaitel Tenders Apology After 95-0 Match Result
Morlai Ibrahim Kamara CEO of Kahunla Rangers Mr Eric Kaitel has Tendered his apolog to the Sierra Leone Football Association over recent odd match Result.
“I want to start by apologizing to the Fans and General Football Loving Fans in the Country & the world at large, about the odd match result of my Club Kahunla Rangers.
As the CEO of Kahunla Rangers, I was at the Kenema City field yesterday to witness the match between Lumbebu vs Kahunla Rangers. I witnessed the first half of the match when my club (Kahunla Rangers) was leading by two goals, by the end of the first half of the game in Kenema, I tried to reach out to know about the result in kono and to my greatest dismay Gulf was already leading Koquioma Lebanon by 7 goals to 1.
I was shocked to hear such an odd information considering the fact that, Koquoima isn’t an underdog team that will easily bow to Gulf. I left the Kenema City field discouraged and went home to have a nap. I was shocked to wake up at night and see a lot of missed calls and messages on my cell phones. It’s was then I realized the manifestation of such an odd act.
I want to state it firmly that; I Eric Kaitell strongly condemns such an unsportsmanlike behavior displayed by my team and the other teams involved. Such behavior is against the principles of SLFA , CAF & FIFA at large.
With this, I’m setting up a Committee to investigate the whole team including Technical Staffs and the Executive members. Whosoever is found wanting will be delt with accordingly.
Lastly, I want to apologize to all Football loving fans and Stakeholders in football about the unprofessional behavior of my Club.”
