Model Almon Sall has been named African Pageant King of the Year 2026 at the Fourwall Models Awards, making Sierra Leone a new continental title holder.
The announcement sparked celebrations at home, with Sall dedicating the win to Sierra Leone and to everyone who supported his journey.
“This win is not just mine. It’s for Sierra Leone. It’s for everyone who voted, prayed, shared and believed in me,” Sall said in a social media post with a flyer after the results were announced. “We didn’t just win a category… we made history. More wins coming!”
The award ceremony is scheduled for August 29, 2026, at the Lekki Centre in Lagos, Nigeria. The red carpet is set for 3 PM, with the main event starting at 4 PM, where Sall will officially receive the crown and trophy.
Sierra Leoneans have hailed the win as a major milestone for the country’s modelling and representation on the continental stage, and called for the continued support of young Sierra Leoneans in arts, culture and entertainment.
