Edwina Jamiru has publicly apologised to Justice Mohamed Alhaji Momoh-Jah Stevens and expressed her readiness to reconcile with the Court of Appeal Justice, describing him as the father of her child and the love of her life.
In a statement issued on Friday, September 4, 2026, Jamiru appealed to Momoh-Jah Stevens to accept her apology and said she was prepared for the two to resume their relationship and remain together.
“I am ready to go back to my man, Momoh Jah Stevens, and I am ready for us to be back together forever,” she said.
Jamiru addressed her message to Sierra Leoneans both at home and abroad, saying her relationship with Momoh-Jah Stevens was known to the public and emphasising that he is the father of her child.
She apologised for what she described as everything that had happened between them and appealed to the wider society to accept their decision to reconcile.
“Momoh Jah Stevens, I am sorry for everything that happened. Please accept the fact that Momoh Jah Stevens and I are not going to separate,” she said.
Jamiru also appealed to the judiciary, Government, police, Fourah Bay College and other institutions she said may have been involved in the matter to accept their relationship, while apologising for any inconvenience caused by the situation.
She acknowledged that the relationship had experienced difficulties, saying Momoh-Jah Stevens had hurt her deeply, but maintained that she had forgiven him and was ready to move forward.
“Momoh Jah Stevens hurt me deeply, and I was really hurt, but what happened has already happened,” she said. “He is the father of my child, and I have forgiven him. I am ready to be with him forever.”
Jamiru described the Court of Appeal Justice in highly personal terms, calling him her “oxygen,” “the love of my life,” “the king of my heart,” her “soulmate” and “everything.”
She further said she wanted Sierra Leonean society and the wider world to accept and support their relationship.
According to Jamiru, she remained committed to Momoh-Jah Stevens and had been faithful and loyal to him throughout their relationship.
She also compared their relationship to biblical and celebrity relationships, citing David and Bathsheba as well as Nigerian entertainment personalities Tonto Dikeh and her husband, and Annie and 2Baba.
“I can never let go of Momoh Jah Stevens. I love him so much, and he is the father of my child,” she said.
Jamiru concluded her appeal by reiterating her desire to reconcile with Momoh-Jah Stevens and work through their differences. “Momoh Jah Stevens and I are ready to be together forever,” she said.
