US Embassy Announces Applications for 2027 Mandela Washington Fellowship
Aaron Parker Young African leaders have been invited to apply for the 2027 Mandela Washington Fellowship, following the opening of applications for the prestigious U.S.-based leadership programme.
The United States Embassy announced that successful applicants will participate in a six-week leadership institute at a U.S. college or university, offering Fellows opportunities for professional development, academic engagement and networking.
The Mandela Washington Fellowship is part of the U.S. Government’s initiative to support emerging African leaders by providing opportunities to strengthen their leadership skills and build connections with peers and institutions in the United States.
The Embassy is encouraging eligible young African leaders interested in the programme to apply through the official application portal.
