Sierra Leone Referee Buck Tarawally Shines at FIFA Course in Cairo
Sierra Leonean centre referee Mohamed Buck Tarawally has achieved a significant milestone in his officiating career after successfully passing the physical fitness test at the FIFA Referees Course held in Cairo, Egypt, in September 2026.
The six-day course brought together referees from across Africa for intensive physical assessments and technical sessions aimed at strengthening refereeing standards and preparing officials for international fixtures.

Tarawally’s successful completion of the required physical fitness and technical assessments places him in a position to officiate matches under the Confederation of African Football (CAF) and FIFA, subject to the relevant appointments and requirements.
His achievement further highlights Sierra Leone’s representation in international football officiating and reflects his continued commitment to professionalism and consistency on the field.
