Chief Minister David Sengeh’s Father Questions Son’s Presidential Credentials
Salamatu Y. Kamara Chief Minister David Sengeh’s father has made a striking admission about his son’s political future, saying he is not yet convinced his son will make a very good President.
Speaking on Ecko Media, the elderly Sengeh discussed his son’s career and family and was asked about David Sengeh’s growing political profile.
The old man made the statement when asked if his son’s wife would make a very good First Lady. His response was, “I am not too sure yet whether the husband is going to be a very good president.”
The comment was made in the context of discussions about David Sengeh’s return from the United States, where he was working with IBM, to serve under President Julius Maada Bio.
While the father said he was happy when his son was appointed Chief Minister, he admitted he was initially apprehensive about him leaving his lucrative career abroad.
