Sam-Sumana Breaks Silence on Past Political Tensions with Former President Koroma
Former Vice President and All People’s Congress (APC) presidential aspirant Samuel Sam-Sumana has said he later realised that former President Ernest Bai Koroma was not working against him, but that individuals within his own circle were responsible.
Sam-Sumana made the revelation while speaking on AYV’s State of the Nation, where he reflected on past political tensions and his relationship with the former president.
“I came to realise that it was not former President Ernest Bai Koroma who was working against me, but people from my own backyard. I came to this realisation after they confessed,” Sam-Sumana said.
His remarks suggest a change in his understanding of the events surrounding the political tensions, with Sam-Sumana attributing his conclusion to confessions by individuals he did not identify.
He did not provide further details about the alleged confessions or name the individuals he said had worked against him.
