Sierra Leonean multi-award-winning hip-hop and dancehall artist Star Zee drops a highly popular single titled “Pressure.”

The song is a deeply relatable anthem that explores the mental, emotional, and social strain of the “Black Tax.” It highlights the crushing financial expectations and burdens on struggling individuals.

Throughout the track, Star Zee contrasts her private financial stress and constant requests for money, like rent and family emergencies, with the public expectation of glamorous, effortless celebrity wealth.

Produced by Nyle, mixed by Ranking and released under DOZ Kabaal, the track has quickly captured widespread attention across West Africa for its powerful message.
