NRA Partners with NIB to Improve Business Registration Process
Sia Lucy Kannah The National Revenue Authority (NRA) and the National Investment Board (NIB) have formalised a partnership aimed at improving business registration and the issuance of Taxpayer Identification Numbers (TINs).
The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed at the NIB Head Office on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, reflecting both institutions’ commitment to strengthening cooperation and improving coordination in their respective areas of responsibility.
Deputy Commissioner General II, Ing. Edmond Ben Nonie, underscored the importance of maintaining effective working relations and ensuring that both institutions fulfil their respective commitments.
Both parties emphasised that the success of the agreement would depend on effective implementation and pledged to uphold the provisions outlined in the MoU.
The partnership is expected to provide a foundation for sustained cooperation and coordinated action between the NRA and NIB, particularly in improving business registration and taxpayer identification processes.
