Government of Sierra Leone Announces New Transport Fares
The Government of Sierra Leone through the Ministry of Transport and Aviation has today, 29 July 2022 announced new transportation fares for various destinations across the country, effective today, Friday 29 July, 2022.
The announcement came following the further reduction of fuel pump prices from Le20 to Le19 per litre, earlier today.
“Following the public pronouncement on the decrease in the pump price of fuel per litre for Petrol, Diesel and Kerosene from Le 20,000 to Le 19,000, the General Public is hereby informed that the Ministry of Transport and Aviation in collaboration with the Motor Drivers Union and other Key Stakeholders in the Transport Sector have agreed as follows for public transportation fares within the Freetown Municipality and the Provincial/Across-Border Routes effective FRIDAY 29 JULY, 2022:” the Government pronounced.
