What was said to be rumors have manifest today as a town near Makeni, the Northern Province of Sierra Leone, Binkoloh have started the intended August 10 peaceful demonstration.
A handful of women and children have took to the street card signs to demonstrate for better living conditions.
Despite the warnings of the police to desist from what they called unlawful demonstration owing to the fact that they received no official demonstration requests, these people have fearlessly took the street.
Holding in their hands protests signs they sing for freedom of speech stressing that women are powerful instruments for development.
