Social media was abuzzed by a recent publication of photo collage of wanted persons of interest by the Sierra Leone Police following the August 10 protests that resulted in loss of lives and properties across Sierra Leone. The police have started raids, arrests and investigations of suspected persons.
In lieu of the said investigation, the Sierra Leone Police have also published a banner containing a photo collage of unverified images as WANTED people by the Police, with a ransom fee on them. These photos surprisingly included a photo of late Nigerian rapper Dagrin, who died in 2010.
This sparked several social media reactions from Sierra Leonean and Nigerian bloggers. Many celebrities from both Sierra Leone and Nigeria who were in disbelief and shock, also reacted to social media posts.
