Ministry of Transport Gives 19 Days Ultimatum to Occupants of Hasting Airfield Area to Vacate The Premises
Binta Koroma The Ministry of Transport and Aviation has issued an ultimatum, demanding for all illegal occupants of parcel or portions of land in and around the Hastings Airfield area to vacate the premises.
This ultimatum was issued yesterday the 12th October 2022 after the ministry had organized a committe to investigate claims and counter claims to ownership of piece and parcels of land at the Hastings Airfield area for a while.
The Ministry informed that they had asked all claimants of any piece of land at the aforementioned place to submit all relevant documents to justify their claims, but received only one response from the public.
Consequently, it therefore ordered all occupants in and around that area to vacate the premises by Monday, the 31st October, 2022 as the government will take full possession on the 1st November, 2022.
The Ministry concluded by advising all to heed to the content of the notice or else they will have themselves to be blamed for any consequences.
