Update On The Status Of APC’s Lower-Level Elections And National Delegates Conference
Ibrahim Hashim Some members of the main opposition, All People’s Congress (APC) Interim Transitional Governing Committee (ITGC) have provided update on the status on the party’s lower level elections and national delegates conference.
This revelation is made in a press release issued today, Friday 11 November 2022.
The releases stated that the ITGC under the supervision of the Political Parties Registration Commission(PPRC), shall commence the verification of party members and registration of new members in due course.
“The Party’s general membership is hereby assured that the party shall conduct its lower- level elections and National Delegates Conference within the stipulated timeframe and shall RESIST any attempt to derail or prevent this from happening,” it added.
The release also delved into the internal conflict and differences between the current Chairman of the ITGC, Alfred Peter Conteh and some other members of the APC.
