2023 Elections: New Research Reveals Who Sierra Leoneans Will Vote For Between SLPP and APC
A research by Afrobarometer done in 2021/22 has predicted that Sierra Leoneans are more likely to vote for the ruling Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP) than opposition parties like the All People’s Congress (APC) and others.
The research firm said that respondents were asked how much they trust the ruling party as against opposition parties.
According to the result, 47 percent of Sierra Leoneans said that they trust more in the ruling party than the opposition. Whereas, 33 percent opted to trust the opposition party.
The study was employed in more than 20 countries in Africa.
The result ranked Sierra Leone fourth in where citizens trust the ruling party more than the opposition.
