The Chief Executive Officer of Electric Car Company ETIOCA, Mark Ishakov has said that his company will open a part’s manufacturing plant in Sierra Leone.
ETIOCA’s CEO made this revelation in a talks with the Sierra Leone High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, Dr. Morie Komba Manyeh.
The Gibraltar based company is looking at possibilities to employ thousands of young Sierra Leoneans and expanding their business to the African continent.
The multi-million dollar company is bent on becoming the leading electric mobility with the largest portfolio of vehicles and services.
The establishment of this company will be a big boost for the country’s economy which could see electric car parts being exported to other countries in the world. Experts say that this could lead to boosting of the country’s currency which has nosedived against others quite recently.
In another news, an American electric car company also looked at possibility of establishing a mines plant in the country.
