The France Chapter of the Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP) has successfully conducted its executive elections, ushering in a new leadership team dedicated to advancing the party’s presence and activities in the diaspora.
The election took place on March 1, 2025, at La Maison Des Femmes, 215 Terrasse de l’Arche, 92100 Nanterre, in a process that was described as free, fair, and transparent in line with directives from the National Electoral Commission (NEC). The voting exercise was observed by Jamiatu Boima Charley, a representative from the SLPP Holland Chapter.
The newly elected executive members are:

Speaking on behalf of the newly elected executives, Secretary General Octavious O. Varney expressed gratitude for the confidence reposed in them by party members.
He assured that the new leadership would work tirelessly to strengthen the SLPP’s engagement with its diaspora members and contribute positively to the party’s overall growth.
“The members of this chapter voted for these officials based on our potential. They have confidence that we are prepared to take this great party to new heights, and we will ensure that their trust in us remains steadfast,” he stated.
