Bo Commercial Secondary School Celebrates Golden Jubilee With Annual Sports Meet
Bo Commercial Secondary School concluded its annual Sports Meet on February 14, 2024, commemorating the institution’s Golden Jubilee in grand style. Organized by the Old Students Association, BoCOSA, the event highlighted the school’s enduring spirit of trust and excellence.
In a thrilling display of athleticism, four houses; Green, Blue, Mauve, and Yellow competed across various disciplines. Green House emerged as the overall champions, showcasing their prowess. Yellow House secured the second position with a commendable performance, followed closely by Blue House in third place, and Mauve House clinching the fourth spot.
The festivities extended beyond the field, featuring Quiz and Debate Competitions that tested the intellectual acumen of participating pupils. Intense Volleyball and Football Matches enthralled spectators as teams adorned in the school’s colors battled for glory.
The Golden Jubilee celebrations provided a unique platform for Alumni to reconnect, fostering a sense of unity among former students during the reunion night.
Looking ahead, the school is gearing up for its Speech Day and Prize Giving Ceremony on Friday, February 16th, an occasion to recognize and reward academic and extracurricular achievements. The festivities will commence with a Thanksgiving Ceremony on Sunday, February 18, 2024, reflecting the school’s commitment to a holistic celebration of its fifty-year journey.
