Basic Education Ministry Issue Guidelines For Admission Into JSS1
Morlai Ibrahim Kamara The Ministry of Basic and Senior Secondary Education has issued guidelines for the admission of National Primary School Examination Candidates into Junior Secondary and Senior Secondary Schools.
Below are the new rules/guidelines for admission into JSS 1 AND SSS 1:
- Principals must submit the repeaters list to the Basic Education Secretariat before the commencement of the interview.

Principals must submit the date and time for the interview to the Basic Education Secretariat before the start of the interview.

There must be an eight-member committee to conduct the interview, with one member from MBSSE and seven appointees from the school.

Principals must present the number of classrooms available for the new intake to the Basic Education Secretariat before the interview.

Principals must comply with the approved school colors and charges from MBSSE.
