The Council of Legal Education has released a supplementary shortlist of 93 applicants from Fourah Bay College (FBC), University of Sierra Leone, who have been selected to sit the 2026 Sierra Leone Law School Entrance Examination.

In a notice issued on 24 July 2026 and signed by the Registrar, Daniel I. Lavally Esq., the Council informed all shortlisted candidates that the entrance examination will be held on Friday, 31 July 2026, at the Special Court Complex in New England Ville, Freetown.

The examination is scheduled to commence promptly at 9:00 a.m., with applicants required to report to the venue on time. The Council emphasised that late entry will not be permitted under any circumstances.

The notice further directed all shortlisted applicants to complete payment of the prescribed examination fee of Le2,500 no later than 29 July 2026. Payments are to be made into the designated Sierra Leone Commercial Bank (SLCB) account provided by the Law School.

Following payment, candidates are required to present their bank deposit slips at the School’s Finance Office for processing and the issuance of their official examination numbers. The Council stated that only applicants issued an official examination number will be allowed to sit the entrance examination.

The supplementary shortlist forms part of the Council’s admission process for the 2026 academic year and provides another opportunity for eligible FBC law graduates seeking admission into the Sierra Leone Law School.

The Council has urged all shortlisted applicants to comply with the stated payment deadline and examination requirements to avoid forfeiting their opportunity to participate in the entrance examination.
