Nafisatu Mustapha a former Law Student at Fourah Bay College has bagged a Masters of Laws (LLM) in National and Global Health Law Firm from Georgetown University Law Center.
Mustapha is a writer who has a novel on her name featured by the BBC.
She revealed that in 2022, she received an email that her application to further her studies in an area of expertise that is a gap in Sierra Leone , at a prestigious school overseas was successful.
“I could have let go of the opportunity & ended up spending the reason of my life being bitter that I did not get the needed support but I choose instead to take charge of my journey & write the story I wanted. I choose to Push through even if it meant being uncomfortable”
She encouraged young Sierra Leoneans that life is very hard and that there are so many disadvantages especially lack of resources that prevent them from competing with the rest of the world, leaving them step behind
As a writer and social Activist, Nafisatu tells stories and works on the Personal development of young females in the country.
I saw this young lady when she was a teenager and attending the SOS International School in Freetown and now a lawyer and writer. Congratulations to u Nafisatu Mustapha. Her mother was my school mate at Harford school for Girls. A big congratulations again
