Office of the Entertainment Ambassador Gears Up for National Entertainment Conference
Salamatu Y. Kamara The national entertainment conference organized by the Office of the Entertainment Ambassador is set to commence soon.
According to the Office of the Entertainment Ambassador, they have engaged various sectors within the entertainment industry over the past weeks in preparation for the dialogue symposium.
The symposium aims to facilitate discussions and idea-sharing, which can then be presented to the government on behalf of Sierra Leonean entertainers
After the June 24th, 2023 election and the announcement of results which showed the re-election of President Bio, he had a meeting with entertainers in the country as a way of familiarizing himself with them.
The president during the meeting gives entertainers an assignment to engage among themselves and bring forward what they want the government to do for the entertainment industry in Sierra Leone.
Hope this will capture the Involvement of all entertainment bodies in the country not only for Freetown.
I just hope all the 14 District Artist Unions in Salone will be called for representation.
