Kao Denero Catches Boy Suspected of Secretly Filming Him in Freetown
Sahid Bangura Sierra Leonean rapper and entertainment ambassador Kao Denero has confronted a young boy suspected of secretly recording him with a mobile phone in Freetown.
The incident occurred on the afternoon of Tuesday, November 3, 2026, when Denero allegedly accused the boy of recording him without his knowledge using a red mobile phone.
Following the accusation, the phone was reportedly taken from the boy and checked for the suspected footage. However, the boy denied recording the entertainer.
The incident comes days after a video of Denero secretly recorded while attempting to fix something on his car along a street in Freetown went viral on social media, attracting public attention.
The latest confrontation has again drawn attention to concerns surrounding the unauthorised recording of public figures in public spaces.
However, it remains unclear whether the boy had actually recorded Denero, as no confirmed footage from the alleged incident has been established.
