Meet our personality of the week, Dr. Abubakarr KSK Daoh (PhD, MBA, ACCA, MCSI, CMA, CGBA).

Dr. Abubakarr KSK Daoh is a young leader from Sierra Leone who participated in the 2021 Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders. He holds a PhD in Accounting and Finance with specialist research on Contagion and Systematic risks within Financial Networks, and an MBA from Birmingham City, University, UK. He is also a Chartered Accountant (ACCA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), Certified Global Business Analyst (CGBA), and Member of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investments (MCSI). He currently works on Financial System Stability at the Central Bank of Sierra Leone.

Always fascinated by the power of learning and the potential of leadership, Dr. Daoh enroll in the Oxford Executive Leadership Programme, right after completing his PhD in Accounting and Finance, challenging himself to learn from the best in the field. Having always dream being part of the prestigious Saïd Business School, Oxford University, which was ranked as the Best British University for Open Executive Programmes by the Financial Times in 2023, he felt honored and inspired to be among them.

Despite the herculean task and time, Dr. Daoh was able to achieve his dream, covering various aspect of the leadership practices. The programme changed him as a person and as a leader. It made him more confident, more curious, and more humble. It made him more eager to share his knowledge and experiences with others, especially in his home country of Sierra Leone. He believed that they needed more honest and constructive leadership conversations, coaching, networks, and opportunities in the country.
