In a recent video on sociasl media from a resident in Moyamba District shows protesters taking the street in Magburuka demanding Mohamed Konneh,  the Chief Electoral Officer to resign from his post.

The protesters in different colors of clothes are shouting “Konneh Must Go, We Are not going to agree” in their local dialect, Krio.

The event followed a press release by the main opposition leader of the All People’s Congress for his supporters to embark on what he called a Peaceful protest against the Electoral Commission of Sierra Leone (ECSL) following a number of issues they raised about the ECSL rigging the elections that is to commence on Saturday, the 24th June.
