Adonkia Resident Raises Alarm Over Police Inaction After Discovery of Corpse
Kadijatu Barrie A resident of Adonkia has voiced concerns on Facebook regarding the discovery of a human corpse near Winners Avenue Bridge. According to local reports, the police were notified about the body but reportedly arrived, inspected the scene, and left without taking any action.
The resident criticized this response, stating, “They left a deceased human being exposed, unattended, and dishonored, as though their life and death held no significance.” He questioned the level of care expected from law enforcement, emphasizing that the failure to act until public pressure from concerned citizens prompted intervention from Epic Radio reflects negligence and a betrayal of public trust.
“This is not policing. This is abandonment,” he stated, urging for accountability and reform within the police force. The community is demanding answers, asserting that the deceased deserved compassion and a proper response, which they believe was not provided. The resident concluded with a call for a recommitment to the values of service and protection that law enforcement claims to uphold.
