The Chief Executive Officer of AYV Media Empire, Anthony Navo Jr., has held discussions with Zhao Yong on strengthening cooperation between the Chinese Embassy and AYV Media Empire.
The meeting centered on expanding collaboration in key areas including media, trade, investment, education, and youth empowerment, while also reinforcing the long-standing bilateral relations between Sierra Leone and China.
During the engagement, Ambassador Zhao Yong commended AYV Media Empire for what he described as its contribution to balanced journalism and its role in promoting cultural and development understanding between the two countries.
He further encouraged Sierra Leoneans to take advantage of the Africa–China Zero Tariff Export Policy as a means of boosting trade and creating greater economic opportunities.
Anthony Navo Jr. expressed appreciation for the continued partnership between the Chinese Embassy and AYV Media Empire. He highlighted AYV’s position as a leading media platform with regional reach through DStv and called for stronger media partnerships to help showcase development initiatives and investment opportunities in Sierra Leone.
Both parties reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening cooperation aimed at promoting mutual growth and development between Sierra Leone and China.
