Car Crash Leaves One Seriously Injured After Losing Control on Model New Road in Freetown
Sahid Bangura A serious road crash reportedly occurred in the early hours of Wednesday, 14th May, at approximately 6:38 a.m., at the intersection of Model Junction and the road leading to FBC.
Eyewitnesses reported that the vehicle involved in the crash lost control, striking a pedestrian before colliding with a streetlight pole.
One victim, identified as Emmanuel Sattie, sustained serious injuries and was immediately rushed to the hospital by a police officer for urgent medical attention. Authorities confirmed that no deaths have been reported at this time.
According to eyewitness accounts, the driver fled the scene following the accident. Police officials stated that investigations into the incident are expected to commence shortly to determine the cause of the crash and locate the driver.
