Fatu Bah, Amadu Kakuba Kandeh and Hawa Bah made their fifth appearance before Magistrate Sahr Kekura of the Freetown Court No. 1, as they were alleged to have conspired together and stole $15,000 from the First Lady, Madam Fatima Bio, at the Presidential Lodge.

The accused were arraigned before the court on a count of conspiracy, to wit larceny dwelling house, which is contrary to law.

The particulars of offence indicate that the accused, on 14th June, 2021 at the Presidential Lodge, Hill Station in Freetown, conspired together with other persons unknown and stole Fatima Bio $15,000, which is equivalent to Le150,000,000.

Shortly after the matter was mentioned, the prosecutor, ASP Daboh, and the associating counsel, I.F. Sawaneh, sought for a date, informing the court that the witness, who was testify, is currently taking exams.

The matter was adjourned to the 25th August, 2021.

The third accused, Hawa Bah, is on bail because she is a disabled, but the 1st and 2nd accused (Fatu and Amadu), who are minors, are still remanded in custody despite several bail applications made by defense counsel A.S. Conteh.
