The National Coordinator for Empowerment for Disability and Social Integration, Zainab Kamara was rejected from boarding Africa World Airline Flight in Freetown due to her disability status.

On the video, madam Zainab explained that she was travelling to Ghana to attend a programme in advocacy and youth development on behalf of Sierra Leone. According to her, the airline which she has already booked ticket from, rejected her because she is physically challenged.

She sent a direct message to the President of the republic of Sierra Leone, His Excellency Julius Maada Bio. She pleaded with him to pass a bill so that people living with disabilities are respected in those airlines. She added that there are provisions made for people living with disabilities on any airline. She furthered explained that, it is not their faults to remain in the street begging. By this kind of discrimination, Madam Zainab added that even if they are educated and they have all what it takes to deliver, there is no space for them in the society because of their physical status. She called for an immediate action.
