Fourah Bay College (FBC) Faculty of Law has emerged as the national champion in the Philip C Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition organized by the Advocacy and Mooting Society in collaboration with the International Law Students Association.

The competition was a national one between IMAT College and Fourah Bay College and Fourah Bay College emerging as winner of the competition.

The team that represented FBC consisted of three males and two females which include Alpha Sanunu Bah – LL.B 4, Francis Combay Kallon – LL.B 4, Andrew Ben Massaquoi – LL.B 4, Yeani Aminata Konneh – LL.B 4, and Brenda Nancy Junisa – LL.B 3.

The FBC team will be representing the country in Washington DC in the United States of America in the White and Case International Round.

The Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition is the oldest, largest, and most prestigious moot court competition in the world and has been held every year since 1960, is an advocacy competition for law students.
