Peace corps health and education trainees visited Kambia in the Northern part of sierra leone to undertake their different projects.

Health Trainees were learned how to prepare a local source called ‘Pemahun’.
Pemahun is cooked with rice and potato leaves and other protein ingredients, which is highly nutritious and recommended for pregnant women in Sierra Leone.

Education Trainees in the other hand did their first Village Day in two surrounding villages in Kambia; Village Days are where Trainees teach in a typical Sierra Leonean classroom and have their first interaction with students at the Debia Foundation Junior Secondary School in Kambia.
