The Fourah Bay College Student Union has in a letter addressed to the Deputy Registrar pleaded with the college’s administration to postpone this semester’s examination.
The Student governing body said that most lecturers are still on effective lectures and most of them are yet to exhaust their course outline.
“Some departments are yet to take reference examination,” they said.
The President of the Student Body, Alfred Micah Sesay said that most students are not mentally prepared for the exams.
The college administration has scheduled the exams to start next week, Monday 20 March 2023.
Some students, speaking to Sierraloaded supported the student body in their plea. One even suggested that they should postpone it for a fortnight.
