A fire outbreak at Nicole Street Brama Lane Old Road in the east end of Freetown left homes and properties worth thousands of leones damaged.
Most of the houses involved in the fire incident were built with sticks and Zinks which made it very easy for the fire to circulate.
Firefighters were at the end able to put off the fire. However many houses were already burnt to ground level.
According to eyewitnesses, the cause of the fire can be traced to poor electricity. However it is yet to be confirmed.
