50 years old driver and his 39 years old wife both; serves as traders together with their 16 year old son, have appeared at the high court before Justice sulaiman Bah after they had been accused in 2021 of murder involving 52 year old George Alhassan Jalloh.

Abu Bakarr, Gertrude and Kashopie Ibrahim are charged with conspiracy to murder.

It was alleged that they murdered 52 year old George Alhassan Jalloh Monday 1 March, 2021 at 3rd Street Off Mountain cut in Freetown.

George died of acute hemorrhagic shock due to stab wounds on the back and front of his body and his left arm and hand.

PW1 Ibrahim Dawq recalled on the 1st March 2021, he was awaken around 4am by the first accused Abu Bakarr, asking for his assistance that something had happened.

At this stage during his testimony, the matter was adjourned because, according to the court, the witness was not speaking loudly and the court PA system was not available.

Justice Sulaiman Bah remanded all accused persons and adjourned the matter to Wednesday 30th March 2022 for further  testimony of the witness.

According to the Public Review Newspaper, 12 jurors were assembled for this trial. The first accused is represented by Lawyer Morrison Karima, 2nd Lawyer IP Mamie and the 3rd by Lawyer Julian Cole whiles Andrew Fafay Kamara is prosecuting the matter.
