Kenema City Mayor Reaffirms Commitment to Development
Mohamed Aruna The Mayor of Kenema City Council, Thomas Baio has on the 25th October 2023 reaffirms council’s commitment to total development in the city.
Speaking during the session, which marks the October Ordinary Council Meeting of the fifth session of the Kenema City Council, he called on all councillors and other staff at the council to strictly work in the interest of the people and deliver on their core mandate. He said they hold the people who voted for them a total commitment and always know that, the people are their boss.
“Let us all focus to the development of Kenema city and avoid all distractions in our job dispensation” he stated.
He said, he has completed the payment and every other activity for the sustainable run of the clock tower, the completion and launch of the city hall, the stores within the city and many other developments adding that, the fencing of the Police Barraks may start soon.
He called on everyone to avoid hate speeches and work towards putting strategies in place to have developmental plans and activities working well in the city.
