Weeks after a highly publicised and bitter breakup with his partner known as “Loko Woman,” social media personality Alhaji Sesay, popularly known as “Loko Man,” has received a full fresh start from philanthropist Mr. Morlai Mansaray.
Mansaray has provided Loko Man with one year of free accommodation, a full scholarship at Sky Vision College in Wilberforce, and training in digital content creation aimed at boosting his social media engagement and building a sustainable future.
The initiative combines shelter, education, and skills development, creating what Mansaray described as a pathway to long-term empowerment and opportunity.
The move comes after weeks of turmoil in Loko Man’s personal life. Earlier in May, he publicly made a series of allegations against Loko Woman, claiming she used witchcraft against him, withheld land documents, shared nude photographs of him with his employer, and controlled his weekly earnings of 600 Leones.
Two days later, the Sierra Leone Police’s Family Support Unit invited Loko Woman for questioning over an alleged domestic violence case filed by Loko Man.
The following day, Loko Woman made a public video appeal seeking reconciliation, after reportedly sending Loko Man away with a “Ghana-Must-Go” bag containing his belongings.
Reacting to his new opportunity, Loko Man suggested that the difficult experience may have been a blessing in disguise.
“Not every storm that comes into your life is meant to destroy you,” he said. “Sometimes, it comes to redirect you toward greater opportunities.”
As of now, Loko Woman has not publicly commented on Loko Man’s fresh start.
