Two Masons, Steven Sesay, 23 and Sao Marrah, 24 are in before Magistrate Mark Ngegba of Pademba Road Magistrate Court No. 1 for larceny contrary to the laws of Sierra Leone.

According to the report, both accused, allegedly, on Saturday 14 January 2023 in Masiaka, conspired with unknown persons to commit larceny contrary to the laws of Sierra Leone.

In his statements, the prosecuting witness, Detective Police Constable (DPC) 17970 MLS Kamara, the accused on the same date and at the same location, broke into Fatima Kanu’s residence and stole a set of sunny lights together with the big batteries valued at NLe6,435, 30 bottles of perfume valued at NLE10,170, 49 men’s short pieces valued at NLe6,875, a solar controller system valued at NLe 8000, a Royal gold pot valued at NLe4,940, two (2) boxes and other valuable properties worth thousands of Leones.

The DPC Kamara continued to testify that the accused on the same date at the outskirts of Freetown entered the plaintiff’s house and stole 95 packets of British-made human hair valued at NLe4,600, 12 pieces of different British laced lappers valued at NLe 4,850, 60 pairs of men’s shoes valued at NLe18, 000, 55 pairs of women shoes valued at NLe12,500, 3 cameras valued at NLe16,500, 29 different models of android mobile phones valued at NLe24,600, and other valuable properties worth hundred of Leones.

Magistrate Mark Ngegba adjourned the matter to Thursday 2 March 2023 for another hearing.
