Allegations of land grabbing have surfaced against Honorable Benjamin Turay, who is accused of using his political influence to unlawfully claim a parcel of land located at the Black Johnson Peninsula in the Western Area.

The property in question is reportedly owned by Abdulai Bah, who claims the Member of Parliament is involved in a calculated scheme to dispossess him through fraudulent means.

According to Bah, Hon. Turay has been leveraging his alleged close ties to high-ranking political figures, including claims of being a relative of the First Lady and having iinfluence to the President.

These connections, Bah asserts, are being used to intimidate rightful landowners and undermine the legal process.

Sources close to the matter allege that the MP is conspiring with Bah’s caretaker in an attempt to falsify ownership documents and gain unlawful control of the property. The complainant describes the situation as a blatant abuse of power and a serious threat to the rule of law.

“This is nothing short of land grabbing,” Bah stated, warning that the misuse of political power for personal gain sets a dangerous precedent and threatens property rights across the country.

The accusations raise broader concerns about the exploitation of political office for personal enrichment and the erosion of public trust in governance systems. Bah has called on the relevant authorities to swiftly investigate the matter and ensure justice is served.

As of press time, Hon. Benjamin Turay has not responded to the allegations
