NP SL Limited, a leading Oil Marketing Company in Sierra Leone, has formally introduced its new management team to the Executive Chairman of the Petroleum Regulatory Agency (PRA). The introduction took place on June 3, 2024.

Welcoming the new Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Saidu Mansaray, and his team, Executive Chairman of PRA, Mr. Brima Baluwa Koroma, expressed excitement and confidence in the new leadership. He acknowledged the exceptional services of the former CEO, Mr. Kobi Walker, and anticipated continued strong collaboration between NP and the Agency.

Mr. Koroma highlighted the PRA’s progress under his leadership, noting significant revenue growth from Le 473 billion in 2018 to Le 1.3 trillion in 2021-2023. He urged NP to expand operations beyond the Western Area into districts like Karene, Pujehun, Koinadugu, and Kailahun.

The PRA Chairman also announced plans for a nationwide workshop to guide industry dealers and address unacceptable behavior among pump attendants.

Mr. Mansaray, on behalf of NP-Sierra Leone Limited, expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and supported the proposed workshop to ensure ethical conduct in the industry.

He commended Mr. Koroma’s efforts in transforming the petroleum sector and pledged NP’s cooperation in achieving the Agency’s goals. He also confirmed NP’s strategic plan to expand its retail outlets across Sierra Leone, focusing on reaching underserved areas.
