A sample of *ONGA Shrimp Seasoning, Batch Number 10326V*, was submitted by Premium Divine Trading Limited, representative of Promasidor Ghana Limited in Sierra Leone, to the *Sierra Leone Standards Bureau Testing Laboratories* for independent food microbiology and food chemistry analysis.
According to the Certificates of Analysis, the laboratory tested the sample as received and found that the results were consistent with all the applicable specification limits detailed in the reports. The specifications were based on relevant Sierra Leone national standards or ECOWAS regional standards.
The microbiological examination covered: *Aerobic plate count, Coliforms, Yeasts and moulds, and Salmonella.* The results were within the stated limits, and *Salmonella was absent* in the tested sample.
The food-chemistry examination covered: *Moisture content, Sodium chloride, Total ash content and Total acidity.*
All the results were within the specification limits stated by the Sierra Leone Standards Bureau.
These independent findings confirm that the ONGA Shrimp Seasoning tested met every applicable microbiological and chemical safety standard. *ONGA Shrimp Seasoning is safe for consumption.*
