The Operations Team of the Harbour Police Division in Freetown have apprehended two individuals for their alleged involvement in the illicit drug trade.

Sahr Jimissa, 25, known as Chamack, residing at 24 Jenner Wright Road, Freetown, was taken into custody after being found in possession of 104 wraps of Kush, a potent form of cannabis.

Likewise, John Michael Simbo, 22, hailing from 88 Off Kelson Street, Ferry Junction, was arrested with 9 wraps of Kush, reportedly without lawful authority.

Both suspects, along with the confiscated contraband, are currently undergoing investigation at the Harbour Police Division.

In response to the arrests, LUC Kpulun, leading the charge against drug and substance abuse, emphasized the unwavering commitment of law enforcement in combatting the proliferation of illicit substances.

“We will not relent in pursuing the drug dealers and their associates until they give up on the Kush trade,” vowed LUC Kpulun, underscoring the dedication to upholding integrity and professionalism in the fight against narcotics trafficking.
