Some local residents of Koidu Holdings have allegedly been held in custody for stealing valuable properties belonging to the Koidu Holdings Company.
The notorious act has been directed at the workers who were previously sacked from the company due to unresolved situation, tagging it as an act of boycotting the legal steps taken by the First Lady of Sierra Leone, Dr. Fatima Maada Bio.
Recently, it was reported that Wives of the Koidu Holding’s sacked workers took to the street a heart-rendering protest, demanding Justice for their Husbands. Report has it that the company sacked over 1,000 workers without settling their debts with them.

The unlawful action of some youths in the community has been deemed an attempt to revenge or illegally reclaim their losses from the company.
Following their operation, the security personnel of the company reportedly noticed their movements and were able to get rid of them with the stolen properties in their possessions.
The authorities have poised to lunch a serious investigation into the situation so as to bring all the culprits to book.
