The Radical Inclusion Movement (RIM) has officially concluded its free Summer School programme in Pujehun Town and Sahn Town, Malen Chiefdom, Pujehun District, after weeks of academic activities aimed at keeping senior secondary school pupils engaged in learning during the long vacation.
The closing ceremonies brought together pupils, organisers, teachers and community stakeholders to celebrate academic achievement, discipline and the commitment demonstrated by pupils throughout the programme.
As part of the closing activities, RIM recognised outstanding academic performers by presenting learning bags, books and other educational materials to the three best-performing pupils from each form. The awards were intended not only to celebrate academic excellence but also to motivate other pupils to work harder and remain committed to their education.
The free Summer School provided senior secondary school pupils with an opportunity to revise lessons, strengthen their understanding of key subjects and prepare for the academic demands of the upcoming school term.
Beyond academic revision, the programme created a structured and supportive learning environment where pupils could continue their studies during the vacation rather than remaining idle.
The recognition of high-performing pupils was a major highlight of the closing ceremonies. By publicly celebrating academic excellence, organisers sought to encourage healthy competition among pupils and demonstrate that hard work and dedication to education can be rewarded.
The educational materials presented to the pupils are also expected to provide practical assistance to families, particularly by helping beneficiaries return to school with essential learning resources for the new academic term.
