Cleaning our environment is a most to avoid diseases, which the Managing Director, Ambassador Dr. Walton Ekundayo Gilpin, who is widely acclaimed for ushering sweeping modernization reforms, the Rokel Commercial Bank, Bo Branch, in collaboration with well meaning Bo youths, undertook a massive cleaning exercise to clean major streets within the Bo Township.

That brilliant initiative, spearheaded by the Managing Director, Dr. Ekundayo Walton Gilpin, drew huge momentum, attention and participation from residents of various communities who laudably applauded the process and joined hands in strong support and contribution to ensure that the process became a success.

The cleaning exercise project, which forms part of the Bank’s Corporate Social Responsibility, first started in Freetown and has been projected to be replicated over the country.

Staff of the bank highly appreciated the MD and Management of the Bank for their support and pledged that they are always willing to give their utmost contributions towards nation building.

 

They further pointed out that under his dynamic leadership the Bank, has within short periods open vibrant branches in different parts of the country even in far to reach communities.

Most lauded the initiative maintaining that health is wealth adding that residing in clean surroundings helps prevent people from contracting certain diseases. They called on other institutions to borrow a leaf from them and periodically replicate the venture expressing the view that many hands make light work.

Indeed residents of Bo, known as the country’s second capital city, expressed profound thanks and appreciation for rolling out the cleaning exercise.
