A team from the Sierra Leone Water Company (SALWACO) headed by Managing Director, Ing. George Lamin Vandi has on Friday 24 February 2023 visited the Kabala Water Supply Project which when completed will supply clean and reliable drinking water to hundred percent of the population of Kabala Town and communities along the Musia-Kabala Highway.

The team also included Director of Project Management, Ing. Yankuba Tarawally and the Director of Procurement Services, Mr. Joe Gbouma-Alieu of SALWACO, among others.

During a town hall meeting at Musia, Falaba District, the SALWACO MD spoke about how the government is committed to improving the lives of people, adding that the Six Towns Water Project is fully funded by the Government of Sierra Leone.

He continued that the Six Towns Water Supply Project is a huge project for Sierra Leone and it will serve more than 300,000 people when completed.

Authorities of the Community appreciated SALWACO and the Government as they expressed their full support to President Julius Maada Bio for his developmental strides.
